bridesmaid dresses for tall ladies

Please keep Tim and Megan and Diane's family in your prayers today as they say goodbye. This is a day I certainly never wanted to see, can't believe after all these years it is almost time. I never remember a time when Diane was not a part of my life from early childhood to the last few days. So many memories, many happy, some sad but always together. We were the three best friends , you , me and Mary Nell, and life never changed that. The last time I saw Diane at the hospital she was making plans for the three of us to get together and TALK, imagine that!Well that will not happen but until we see each other again I have all those memories..........playing dolls , riding horses, going to the Mill pool and City pool for lazy summer afternoons, all the birthday parties , your mom and mine going to Dorsey Mercantile to buy the perfect fabric to sew us A line skirts because we were in Jr High and they had to be the latest, and then we were in high school. Mary Nell had that old green Ford and we sure could ride a lot of miles on 50 cents of gas, around Red's on to the Dairy Queen and Dairy Dream listening to the radio , when it worked, or just singing as loud as we could. AEA holidays at Grayton Beach at Chris Wilsons parents beach house and stuffing ourselves with Rose' s momma's date nut balls, walking to the store to hang out. High school was always fun, you and I giggling and Mary Nell could always give us THAT look to shut us up! Diane with her perfect Dusty Springfield hair style, while we rolled bridesmaid dresses for tall ladies
ours on Campbell soup cans ! Then we graduated and started our adult lives, and as the real world claimed parts of us we weathered the heartaches and happiness together. Thru the marriages, births of our children, passing of our parents the thread of our friendship and love was always there, all the miles and minutes apart and we could still pick up as though we had never been apart. I'll always cherish the memories of Diane decorating my home for JoDee's wedding reception while Ms Brunize ironed all the bridesmaid dresses, and the day of Megan's wedding the meal we shared together. Diane you gave so much to so many, you will be missed ! I know you are well and whole now, I can't imagine your joy being in the presence of God, this is not goodbye but see you later, as always save me and Mary Nell a seat close to you. I love you Diane Marie Parish Lawrence , it has been one of my greatest pleasures to be your friend....................
